What to Expect
You are welcome to worship with us here at Wesley Monumental UMC! Here is an overview of what you can expect when you visit. If you have any questions, our church staff is happy to help! Give us a call at 912-232-0191.
Worship Services
We have two worship services in the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings at 8:45 and 11 a.m.
Coffee & Refreshments
Coffee and refreshments are served each Sunday morning downstairs in the Fellowship Hall between the early service and Sunday School.
Sunday School
We have Sunday School classes at 9:45 a.m. for all ages, including babies and children. You are welcome to visit any class you would like at any time.
Nursery
Ages 8 weeks through three years
The nursery is located downstairs below the front (pulpit side) of the Sanctuary. Infants and children are also welcome to stay in worship.
Children’s Church
3-year-olds through third grade
Children are invited to leave with our childcare teachers after the Children’s Sermon during worship. They may be picked up in the Fellowship Hall after worship concludes.
Pick-Up
Children do NOT need to be picked up between the worship service and Sunday School. They will be taken directly from Children’s Worship to Sunday School or from Sunday School to Children’s Worship depending on the service their parents are attending.
Restrooms
There are restrooms on the same floor as the Sanctuary through either door on the side of the pulpit. A restroom is also on the ground floor on the Wayne Street side of the Sanctuary. From the narthex, take the stairs located in the northeast corner.
Elevator
An elevator is located on the Gordon Street side of the Sanctuary. Oliver Hall also has an elevator in the entryway.
Parking
A church parking lot is located at the corner of Drayton and Gordon Streets and there are parking spaces on Wayne Street. During church services, attendees may park along the interior of the square along the yellow line. Metered parking spaces are also free on Sundays. View the Parking Map …
Would you like to join Wesley Monumental?
New Members classes take place on the second and third Sundays of the month during the Sunday School hour. The group meets in the Oliver Hall library on the second floor. If you have questions or would like to sign up, please contact Rev. Nelle Bordeaux at 912-232-0191 or by clicking below.
